Saharan Daze Official Opening Night

Posted by Freya Duignan on

It's finally happening, our dazzling dream of opening a Moroccan shop in this tiny town of Cowaramup in the Margaret River region.
An article in the local newspaper setting the town a buzz about this new store and grand opening!
We've painted the floors, built a Bedouin Tent decked out with carpets, kilim cushions, painted tables shishas and Moroccan mint tea. Set up shop and gallery space.
Opening night was quite an event, with belly dancers, live music, DJ, henna artists, and of course Cleopatra arriving on a camel.
Stepping off the camel into the stunning solid brass bath...
A Moroccan concept store, Saharan Daze brings the musky, bustling souks; the vibrant markets of Morocco to the heart of the South West. The store is brimming with exotic feature pieces and authentic trinkets to enliven any space and intrigue even the weariest collector. Freya and Adrian - the husband and wife team of Saharan Daze first travelled across many countries to finally arrive in Morocco several years ago. They fell instantly in love with it's culture, people and wares and have more than a few adventurous and funny stories to tell about how they came by the interesting pieces in store.

Saharan Daze specialise in unique and dazzling home wares, interiors, carpets, ceramics, leather, antiques, furniture, lighting and earthenware. Their modern bohemian clothing range and unique and beautiful jewellery has garnered a loyal following of fashionistas. There is also a genuine Bedouin tent set up in shop filled with cosy nestling places to enjoy shisha and sweet mint tea.

Saharan Daze offers a Moroccan experience for all who walk through the door. You are instantly transported to a mystical land, full of beauty, mystery and adventure. The shop has been so well received by the local community we are expanding online and invite you to experience the taste of authentic Moroccan tradition through our beautiful selection of handcrafted pieces.
